CUP CUP CUPCAKES with La Snacks & Friends
Here it is, what everyone who realizes there is a recession has been waiting for. A FREE alternative to FFFFest. La Snacks is staying true its name and claim as “the most fun band in Austin” by presenting a sugary-filled night of music and booze.
The Cocker Spaniels is Sean Padilla, a one-man band known almost as well for his cookies as for his not-afraid-to-leave-the-stage-and-get-in-your-face performances.
A.D.D., Houston native and son of the late Big Mello, is fresh off his tour with Fat Tony to Pop Montreal and on the verge of releasing his first solo album. You can read his recent Q&A in Beaumont Enterprise’s Cat5 at this link.
We Wolves Wolves are a LOUD rock band from the 70s…er, Beaumont, Texas. They would fit seamlessly on the silver FFF stage next to Danzig. They recently played Ditch the Fest Fest while making their way across the great state of Texas.
La Snacks, part drinking club, part dance troupe but all fun-raiser. The band just released a 7” “AA” and is preparing to release a full length in 2012 sometime before the rapture. They will host this shindig and plan to bring the (baked) goods.
