These pictures were taken during the show I played @ the Moon Bar in Fort Worth, TX on Sunday, November 21st, 2010 w/ Illus Ocean & Adrian Hulet. Because I misunderstood the show’s start time, I missed most of Illus Ocean’s set, which I still regret because what little I heard of it was great. Adrian Hulet stole the show with an impeccable cover of Mariah Carey’s “Vision of Love,” during which he hit notes that I’d never expect to come out a burly, bearded man. I performed well this evening, though I don’t think the audience knew what to make of me (surprise, surprise). The person who inspired “Schadenfreude” attended this show (no, she’s not the girl in the middle picture), but I didn’t perform it because we’re actually friends now. Hopefully I can play the DFW area again within the next month…
