It may no longer be breaking news, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t still good news: THE COCKER SPANIELS are now a real, full band! With the rhythm section of drummer Alan Lauer and bassist Stephen Pierce in tow, the semi-autobiographical, tragicomic, genre-free songs of Sean Padilla have gained new dynamism and power on stage.

On this evening, C.Spaniels shall provide support for MEMPHIBIANS, a Jacksonville, FL band whose music suggests what a more psychedelic version of early Modest Mouse would sound like. They’re embarking on a Kickstarter-funded five-month tour in support of their new EP, “The Dirty Future,” and they’re worthy of a hearty Austin welcome!
